For more than 30 years, he was America’s favorite neighbor: Fred Rogers. This documentary tells the story of the soft-spoken minister, puppeteer, writer and producer whose beloved TV program, “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” featuring Rogers and his cast of puppets and friends, spoke directly to young children about some of life’s weightiest issues in a simple, direct fashion.
I grew up watching Fred Rogers, so this film was a no brainer right from the start. I loved how radical he was! Working with Morgan Neville and his team was a fantastic experience.
