Black TV & Film Collective Producers Fellowship

October 14, 2020

Wavelength partnered with The Black TV & Film Collective to present a collection of narrative films inspired by the Black experience of education in America. Wavelength committed to financing and co-producing a collection of six short films, alongside the BTFC and Cinereach to amplify Black creative voices and bring their stories to the screen. Through the Black TV & Film Collective Producers Fellowship, Wavelength will award six Black producers with a $25K production grant, in kind production support and critical career mentorship.

“Wavelength is committed to telling great f**king stories and shining a light on systemic issues,” said Jenifer Westphal. “Wavelength is proud to partner with the BTFC to provide support to six Black filmmakers and Wavelength looks forward to providing a platform for marginalized voices that have been sidelined for far too long.”
